It doesn't matter what your True Vision might be, understanding how to communicate with yourself and others will help you.

It is unfortunate, but as we head out into the world to make our True Vision a reality, we will encounter people who stretch the truth to suit their own agenda. You don't want their lies to stand in the way of your success- your True Vision!

On page 106 of True Vision 4 Success, I outlined:
"12 Reliable Signs You Are Being Lied To"

Don't let anyone's lies defeat you and stand in your way of success!

There are some things in life that are easier to return once they’re given. A smile is one of those things. When you smile at someone, there is a high likelihood that person will return your smile. Try an experiment the next time you’re walking past people on the street or in a mall. Whenever your eyes naturally meet with a stranger’s, immediately send the person a genuine smile and you’ll see that, in most cases, they’ll return the smile. This is powerful! It means that you will have placed them, at least temporarily, in a positive state of mind. Is there one other act, so easily achieved, that can have such a positive and powerful affect over another human being (a person who, in fact, is a stranger)? In addition, you’ve also placed yourself in a positive mental state.

Many times when we give something, we receive something in return, without even asking for it.

The first and most important form of communication is what occurs within you. Many times, people give up before they even begin because they convince themselves that whatever lies before them cannot be accomplished. When they do this, they are practicing poor self-communication techniques. After all, what is thinking but inner communication?

Does your inner voice fill you with inspiration, or hold you back with negative chatter? If you’re going to make your True Vision a reality, you have to be able to control your thought process to the point where you can differentiate between harmful and helpful inner communication.

I want you to spend some time each day burning your True Vision into your subconscious. This is the part of your brain that never rests, working around the clock 24/7. I want you to picture yourself actively performing your Vision. As I've stated previously, the mind thinks in pictures, not words. Those images are stored in your subconscious mind. See a vivid movie of yourself succeeding at whatever you're doing. Run the mental movie of yourself achieving your True Vision, the more realistic the better. What are you wearing? Who are you with? Who are the people that will be impressed with your success? Where will this take place? When will this happen? Who else is involved in helping you achieve your success? See and feel all of the details. I could actually feel my chin touching the bar on my way to a Guinness World Record for chin ups. Try to include every detail that you can think of in your Vision. Reality is in the details, so make sure that you are as detailed as possible when you practice...

It is in the journey to our success that we become worthy of achieving our True Vision. The key is to keep moving forward, in spite of your mistakes and the imperfection that the world offers up in every direction!

What do I mean when I say the words "True Vision"? My definition of True Vision is establishing a genuine, unquestionable, positive, vivid picture in your mind's eye of exactly what you want to do that will satisfy you and give you a more fulfilling life. It is based upon your own desires, talents, and what you are capable of learning. And together, through this book, you and I are going to discover and cultivate a True Vision for you within your mind's eye, and help you develop a skill-set to get you there!
